Krakow

Poland 5 daysTripDeparts from Thessaloniki

Kraków at Christmas invites us on a journey filled with atmosphere: medieval squares, royal landmarks, illuminated alleyways, and cosy spots where we can savour the flavours of Poland. Set on the banks of the Vistula River, the country’s former capital combines the grandeur of its historic past with the vibrancy of a modern European city. Around the magnificent Rynek Główny, the façades of historic buildings, the towers of St. Mary’s Basilica, and the Renaissance Cloth Hall create a captivating setting that is best explored on foot. With four nights at the same hotel, we can discover the city at a relaxed pace, without having to pack and move between hotels, while also taking excursions to some of southern Poland’s most important attractions: the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, the impressive underground world of the Wieliczka Salt Mine and, optionally, the winter resort of Zakopane. The journey concludes with a complimentary excursion to Warsaw and a direct return flight from the Polish capital.
