South Korea

Seoul 9 daysTripDeparts from Athens · Thessaloniki · Larnaca (Cyprus) · Non flight

“실화야” (Silhwanya), or as we’d say, “Is this for real?” — because yes, it is! During this period, the **Cherry Blossom Festival** takes place at Seokchon Lake. Of course, we can’t promise that you’ll see the cherry blossoms at their absolute peak, as predicting the exact blooming period is almost impossible. Brush up on whatever Korean you’ve picked up from popular K-POP songs, or rewatch your favourite K-dramas, because it’s finally time to put it into practice. And don’t worry if you don’t know a single word of Korean—you can still join the adventure! South Korea remains relatively “unexplored,” as more than half of its visitors never venture beyond Seoul. Although Seoul is one of the world’s largest and most advanced cities, South Korea is about much more than skyscrapers, technological innovation, and shopping malls. It is a country rich in history, where 14th-century palaces, imperial gardens, bustling markets, and traditional tea houses continue to captivate visitors. On this trip, you won’t simply take photos at the country’s most famous attractions. We’re travellers, and we want to experience the authentic side of South Korea. You’ll discover its turbulent history and have the option to visit the **4-kilometre-wide Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)**. From there, you’ll even be able to catch a glimpse of North Korea through a telescope. You can also join an optional cooking class, try **soju**, Korea’s traditional alcoholic drink, and wander through its vibrant markets—an essential part of Asian culture. Naturally, you’ll also have free time to visit one of the country’s famous spas, as South Korea is considered a leading destination for beauty and wellness experiences.
