Itinerary

  1. 1
    Day 1

    Departure for Iceland – Reykjavik

Our Icelandic adventure begins! Meet the group at the airport and depart from Athens, Thessaloniki or Larnaca for Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. Get ready for an extraordinary road trip defined by adventure, exploration, teamwork and some of the most dramatic landscapes on Earth.

  2. 2
    Day 2

Blue Lagoon – Reykjavik Night Out

Begin your Iceland experience at the world-famous Blue Lagoon, where warm geothermal waters contrast spectacularly with the surrounding volcanic landscape. Relax in the lagoon, enjoy a smoothie and try a rejuvenating face mask before transferring to our hotel. Later, discover another side of Iceland as we head out to experience Reykjavik’s surprisingly lively nightlife.

  3. 3
    Day 3

    Reykjavik – Optional Whale Watching

Enjoy free time to explore colourful Reykjavik, browse local shops and visit landmarks such as the striking Hallgrímskirkja Church, whose architecture was inspired by Iceland’s extraordinary natural landscapes. You can also join an optional whale-watching excursion from Reykjavik’s Old Harbour into Faxaflói Bay, where several whale species may be spotted in their natural environment while responsible wildlife-watching practices are followed.

  4. 4
    Day 4

Golden Circle – Þingvellir – Gullfoss – Geysir – Remote Lodge – Northern Lights

Experience Iceland’s legendary Golden Circle, beginning at Þingvellir, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates gradually separate amid a spectacular landscape. Continue to the mighty Gullfoss waterfall and the geothermal area of Geysir, where boiling water erupts dramatically from the earth. Later, travel to our remote lodge at Rjúpnavellir for one of the journey’s most memorable nights. Together, we prepare a traditional BBQ in the Icelandic wilderness—and if the skies cooperate, tonight could bring our first unforgettable encounter with the Northern Lights.

  5. 5
    Day 5

Skógafoss – Glacier Hike – Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach – Northern Lights

Wake up surrounded by Icelandic wilderness before visiting spectacular Skógafoss, a 60-metre waterfall and one of the country’s most iconic natural landmarks. Those who wish can join an optional guided glacier hike, learning how to use crampons before exploring the glacier’s dramatic crevasses, ice formations and moulins. We then continue to Reynisfjara, Iceland’s legendary black-sand beach, famous for its powerful Atlantic waves and extraordinary basalt columns. Away from Reykjavik’s city lights, we will once again keep our eyes on the sky for a possible Northern Lights display.

  6. 6
    Day 6

Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon – Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon – Diamond Beach

Begin with a short hike to spectacular Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon, an otherworldly landscape that looks incredible whether covered in snow or surrounded by greenery. Continue to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where enormous icebergs drift through the glacial waters. Weather permitting, take an optional boat excursion among the icebergs while learning about the region’s geology—and perhaps even spot a few seals. Nearby, visit the extraordinary Diamond Beach, where fragments of ancient glacial ice wash onto the contrasting black volcanic sand like sparkling diamonds.

  7. 7
    Day 7

Ice Cave – Seljalandsfoss – Gljúfrabúi – Return to Reykjavik

Start the day with an optional ice-caving adventure, travelling by specially equipped 4x4 to one of Iceland’s naturally formed seasonal ice caves. The accessible cave depends entirely on weather and glacial conditions, making every visit unique. Continue to magnificent Seljalandsfoss, where conditions may allow you to walk behind the cascading water, before discovering nearby Gljúfrabúi, a hidden waterfall reached through a narrow rocky passage. After another unforgettable day surrounded by Iceland’s raw natural beauty, return to Reykjavik.

    Day 8

    Reykjavik – Return Flight

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight home. We leave Iceland carrying memories of glaciers, waterfalls, black-sand beaches, geothermal landscapes, remote wilderness and, with a little luck, the magical Northern Lights.
