Itinerary

   Day 1

   Athens – New York

   Meet at the airport for your flight to the legendary metropolis of New York City. Upon arrival the same day, transfer to your centrally located Manhattan hotel and check in. The rest of the day is free to enjoy your first impressions of the city that never sleeps.

   Day 2

   Upper Manhattan City Tour

   Discover Upper Manhattan, beginning at Columbus Circle before visiting Lincoln Center, home to the New York Philharmonic and the Metropolitan Opera. Continue to Central Park for a leisurely stop, then explore Columbia University and historic Harlem. The tour concludes along Fifth Avenue, passing Rockefeller Center and ending at the dazzling lights of Times Square.

   Day 2

   Upper Manhattan Tour: Columbia University, Harlem, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central & Times Square

   Continue to historic Columbia University, one of the United States’ leading academic institutions and the home of the prestigious Pulitzer Prizes, before exploring Harlem, the heart of African American culture and home to the legendary Apollo Theater. Travel along glamorous Fifth Avenue to Rockefeller Center and the Top of the Rock, then visit the architectural landmark of Grand Central Terminal. The tour concludes in dazzling Times Square, near Broadway’s world-famous theatres and entertainment venues.

   Day 3

   Lower Manhattan Tour & Statue of Liberty Cruise

   Begin with a scenic cruise towards the Statue of Liberty, enjoying views of the Brooklyn and Verrazzano Bridges, Governors Island, Ellis Island, the Staten Island Ferry and the skylines of New York and New Jersey. Continue to the futuristic Hudson Yards and the Vessel, followed by a tour of Lower Manhattan, including the Brooklyn Bridge, United Nations Headquarters, SoHo, Little Italy, Chinatown, Wall Street, the Charging Bull, Ground Zero, the 9/11 Memorial, One World Trade Center and the Oculus. Visit Chelsea Market and the nearby High Line before returning to the hotel, with free time for an evening out in the city.

   Day 4

   Brooklyn Bridge, DUMBO & Time Out Market

   Explore DUMBO, whose name stands for “Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass,” and enjoy iconic views of the Manhattan Bridge and Empire State Building. Walk through cobblestone streets, converted warehouses, galleries, cafés, lofts and the elegant brownstone neighbourhood of Brooklyn Heights. Visit Time Out Market, enjoy free time beside the East River, and walk across the historic Brooklyn Bridge towards Manhattan. Return to the hotel, with an optional evening visit to one of Manhattan’s authentic jazz bars.

   Day 5

   Lancaster Amish Country – Philadelphia

   Depart for picturesque Lancaster in the heart of Pennsylvania and discover the traditional lifestyle of the Amish community, with its farms, horse-drawn carriages and philosophy of simplicity. Continue to historic Philadelphia for a city tour featuring Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed, and the famous Liberty Bell. Discover the city’s elegant avenues, historic buildings and vibrant modern atmosphere before an overnight stay in Philadelphia.

   Day 6

   Washington, D.C. – Baltimore

   Travel to Washington, D.C. for a tour of its most important landmarks, including the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, National Mall, United States Capitol, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, White House and major government buildings. Pass the Department of Justice, FBI Headquarters, National Archives, Union Station and the Smithsonian museums. Continue to Baltimore and explore the picturesque Inner Harbor before returning to Philadelphia for an overnight stay.

   Day 7

   Atlantic City – New York

   Depart Philadelphia for cosmopolitan Atlantic City, the famous East Coast seaside resort known for its casinos, sandy beaches and historic Boardwalk. Enjoy time to experience the city’s lively waterfront atmosphere and views of the Atlantic Ocean. Continue to New York City, arriving at the hotel for check-in and an overnight stay in the city that never sleeps.

   Day 8

   New York – New Year’s Eve

   Enjoy a free day in festive New York City, with opportunities to explore Fifth Avenue, Central Park, Rockefeller Center and Manhattan’s famous neighbourhoods, as well as the city’s department stores and Christmas markets. Optional museum visits include the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art and the American Museum of Natural History. In the evening, welcome the New Year amid the spectacular lights, music and celebrations of Times Square.

    Day 9

    New York – Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, Optional

    Join an optional excursion to Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, located approximately one hour from Manhattan and featuring more than 220 designer and international brands at discounted prices. Alternatively, remain in Manhattan for shopping along Fifth Avenue or at Macy’s, visit the Empire State Building or choose from the city’s major observation decks: Top of the Rock, One World Observatory, Edge and SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. Another option is to explore SoHo, Chelsea and the East Village, neighbourhoods renowned for their cultural history, alternative character and creative atmosphere.

    Day 10

    New York – Return Flight

    Enjoy free time for final walks and shopping in New York City before transferring to the airport for the evening return flight to Athens.

    Athens

    Arrive in Athens with unforgettable images, experiences and memories from an extraordinary festive journey through the United States.
